LG Styler U.S. market case study

3. final design #1:

There are three final designs that we presented to LG. The first design is based on a french door exploration. There are five main features of this concept that improves upon the current product. 1. The packaging and overall size was changed to be wider, less deep, and shorter. This allows for larger and taller garments to be hung facing forward, not to the side. 2. We incorporated a pants ironing board. You can hang a pair of slacks to the board and it will help to iron and release wrinkles. 3. A shoe sanitizing box was incorporated to the bottom. You can place two pairs of shoes inside the sanitizing box and it will help to freshen often worn shoes.

Final Design #2:

The second design is based on the customizable front panel concept. We modified the packaging to be a better size for American houses, and we allowed users to be able to change the front panel to a design that better fits in to whichever room the Styler will go into.

Final design #3:

The final design concept was a combination washer and styler. This allows the consumer to have a vertically integrated unit that will take up a minimal amount of space while still delivering the styler’s features.
