coleman camping kit
This Coleman camping kit was my final design project at the Academy of Art University. The camping kit was created to address the need for an all-in-one solution for your outdoor cooking needs. We went through multiple ideation phases, narrowed our designs down, and eventually developed renderings and a physical prototype. The bottom portion is filled with propane gas, and the upper compartment lifts up to create a pot for all your cooking needs. After you are finished, the entire system collapses and locks.

io orbital xerox printer
This was my final project for my junior year at my University. The brief was to design an “inside-out” product. I decided to create an inside out printer. The printer concept is a single sheet fed circular design, and the page is fed with curved paper. The design allows printing of an unlimited length, as long as you have paper that is long enough. This project was featured at the Academy of Art University’s Annual Spring Show in 2010.

krups nutri
This Krups Nutri concept was one of the first design projects I did at the Academy of Art University as a product designer. The Nutri was designed to remain in the kitchen ad was to be used as a recipe aid and health aid device. Users are able to feed receipts and the Nutri could read what you bought and start collecting data on what you like to buy and how often you bought certain groceries. The Nutri would then sync to your phone so that when you went to the market, you would be reminded of what you should buy. The device also has a recipe recommendation engine that utilizes A.I. to recommend new recipes that you might never have thought before using the ingredients you already have at home. Although devices such as iPads could perform similar functions, this device is designed to be a dedicated kitchen appliance.
